A key role in having a successful blog is the ability to manage your time and tasks effectively in an efficient manner. Having said that, I now call upon the help on you GTD experts as I am finding myself in quite a boggle lately.

Email is a vital portion of a lot of peoples life—- it is used by most people on a wider scale than home or mobile phones. However, as opposed to a phone number which a person is likely to have 2 numbers, a person can have dozens of email addresses. (more…)

Akismet…I think I love you

Leaving a blog unattended for so long I assumed there would be a fair amount of spam. And yes, quite a few did manage to get through the system. However, when I went to check Akismet, it had caught an amazing 10,720 spam comments. It certainly made cleaning up the other spam comments a lot easier.

Define Blog is very prone to spam because the word “blog” is very popular with comment and trackback spammers. They have managed to figure out the systems of most blogs and have programs that will detect what type of blog system it is running on and post the comment spam accordingly. (more…)
