When starting up a blog to make a profit it seems natural that it would be something that has the ability to make money off of. I have many times contemplated starting blogs about digital cameras, PDA’s and cellphones; because there is quite obviously money to be made with those topics. And though I may be knowledgeable on all of the topics; I’m just not passionate about them.

You don’t have to be passionate about something to write about it, but it makes it a hell of a lot easier on yourself. That’s why I chose to write about things I am both passionate and knowledgeable about. Sure, I could fake interest in it for a while, but after a while it is no longer something you wish to write about; it becomes a chore. Read the rest of this entry »

The Butterfly Effect

Now first off lets, put this out there; I have absolutely no problem getting up in front of people and talking—- if I know what I am talking about.

If someone were to ask me to get up at the Super Bowl and tell everyone my life story, I would be able to because I’m pretty familiar with that topic. Now the topics I’ve been discussing publicly are still subject matters that I do have knowledge on, but one fear always seems to enter my mind. Read the rest of this entry »
